Not sure if this is the right place to post this question.

For the last one week i haven’t been able to log on via Sql plus on the Oracle server. It gives the error ORA 03113 end-of-file on communication channel

I can log in on other work stations but cannot run sql loader batch..

   Thanks for your question.
   1. I believe it is windows machine and it could happen because the user account you logged in is not the one you have used earlier.
   2. Check SQLNET.ORA and TNSNAMES.ORA of working and not working work stations.

   True its a Windows machine but that account is the one we log in to the server with. I have altered SQLNET.ORA and it worked. I am able to log in now. Just wonder if this problem signifies another underlying issue…
